Dr. Dewey Carpenter, a board certified veterinary cardiologist for over 15 years, is an expert in the care of animals with heart disease. Using specialized tests, he can diagnose specific heart problems, and then with his extensive experience and knowledge, he will prescribe the best treatment plan for your pets specific heart or lung disease. Currently Dr. Carpenter offers traditional appointments weekly at the Jupiter, Lauderdale, and Hollywood locations.
Regardless of where Dr. Carpenter sees your pet, he will always work with your primary care veterinarian to manage your pet’s heart health by coordinating the optimal care and follow-up support. During every evaluation, Dr. Carpenter will review all previously performed test results, examine your pet, and decide if additional tests are necessary. Our specialty veterinary practice will perform an extensive record review to make sure no tests are repeated unnecessarily.
